Located 1.5 miles southeast of Carnation. Open to fishing from the 4th Saturday in April to October 31. Stocked catchable-size rainbow trout provide early season action. Rainbow carry-overs, kokanee (stocked as fry in the spring) and largemouth bass spice the action in mid- to late-season. Expect good fly fishing for large carryover rainbows on summer evenings. Langlois has a well-developed WDFW access at its east end (http://wdfw.wa.gov/lands/water_access/), with a ramp, parking and toilets. Additional opportunities include naturally spawning and stocked (fall-fingerlings) cutthroat trout and largemouth bass. Oh The Places We Could Go... Leavenworth Family Getaway :-)

How important it is to take a sabbatical every once in a while; spending time away from the worries and monotony of everyday life-- work, the daily routine, commitments..."normal" life.

One of my favorite things to do is to dream of and explore different places that I would love to visit. Yesterday, I booked a "Family Weekend Getaway" to the winter wonderland known as "Leavenworth".
